Jessica L. Kyle

Jessica L. Kyle joined the firm in April of 2015. Her practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation, including insurance defense.  Ms. Kyle comes to us from Vaughan & DeMuro, where she was a principal in their Colorado Springs office since 2004.  There, she concentrated her practice on the defense of public and private companies, public entities, and their employees, in the areas of general civil litigation, insurance defense, land use, including eminent domain and condemnation, community association law and employment-defense. Jessica’s business litigation practice includes cases involving contract disputes, secured parties’ rights, real estate, employment cases, and other general business litigation matters. Her employment practice includes representation of clients in claims and litigation involving breach of contract, non-competition agreements, trade secrets, wrongful discharge, unlawful discrimination (including cases under Title VII), sexual harassment, and retaliation. Jessica’s civil litigation practice includes property disputes, real estate transaction disputes, consumer transactions and premises liability. Her practice and experience includes extensive motion practice, evidentiary hearings, and trials, before both the bench and jury in the state and federal district courts.  Her practice at the appellate level involves brief writing and oral argument, both at the state and federal appellate courts, as well as the Colorado Supreme Court.
