| Darla has more than 20 years of experience as a paralegal with emphasis in the areas of corporate and business law, probate and estate administration, and real estate transactions. |

| Darla assists the attorneys in the business and technology division with all phases of corporate law, from formation to equity financing to acquisitions and mergers. Darla has extensive experience in working with the attorneys and firm clients in corporate maintenance, due diligence, and securities matters. In addition to the business and technology division, Darla assists the attorneys with probate and estate administration matters, including the preparation of estate tax returns. |
| Darla joined our firm in 1997, and, with the exception of an 8-month period when she worked in the legal department at NxTrend Technology, Inc., Darla has worked in the business and technology division of the firm. Prior to joining our firm, Darla worked for a small firm for 16 years. In addition, Darla was an escrow officer for a title company for almost two years. |

| Darla has been an active member of Pikes Peak Paralegals since 1983 and served as its president from 1998 to 2002. Darla is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, and she is an associate member of the Colorado and El Paso County Bar Associations. She also serves on the Pikes Peak Community College Paralegal Advisory Board. | |
