Casey J. Downing

Casey Downing is a trial attorney who practices complex commercial litigation, with a particular focus on trials and appeals. Casey also conducts internal investigations of companies and investigations in response to government subpoenas. Casey joined the firm in 2025, after spending more than a decade practicing at a prominent litigation boutique and large international law firms in Houston and New York.

Casey has a broad trial practice that spans numerous industries. He has represented clients in the financial, oil and gas, technology, aviation, retail, hospitality, education, and healthcare industries. Casey has tried numerous cases to verdict before juries and judges and has achieved significant victories at trial in federal and state courts in Texas, New York, and Ohio.

Casey was born and raised in Colorado Springs. After graduation from Colorado State University, he spent two decades living and working around the globe, including working in Los Angeles, Argentina, and India, and practicing law in New York and Texas. He is excited to return home to continue representing clients in high stakes litigation, and to introduce his wife and three children to the Colorado outdoors.
